Post Falls, Idaho Mar 25, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The annual Post Falls Reverse Job Fair will take place on March 22 at Real Life Post Falls. On average 300 students from the Post Falls School District prepare to share their projects and wow interviewers for a chance at over $19,000 in scholarships donated by 24 local businesses and awarded by a panel of judges based on presentation, interviews, and other criteria.
Since 2007 the annual Reverse Job Fair aims to prepare high school seniors with the tools and confidence to market themselves to potential employers through tailored classroom instruction and real-world interaction with local business professionals. The event, presented by the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce and hosted at Real Life Ministries, is in support of the Post Falls School District Senior Project requirement for graduation.
High school seniors will present themselves to local business professionals over the two-hour event prior to graduation. Each senior comes prepared to be interviewed with a resume, cover letter, and a presentation board designed to market their unique skills and experiences. The students are then matched with business professionals based on their interests and will conduct, at minimum, three 10-15 minute interviews sharing their stories. The interviewers then evaluate each student and provide feedback to the instructors that are then shared with the students.
The Reverse Job Fair takes place Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Real Life Ministries located at 1860 N Cecil Rd, Post Falls, ID 83854.
