Boston, Massachusetts Feb 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - For centuries, India is the spiritual powerhouse for many seekers who travel in the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment and self-discovery. Such was the effort from Divine Heart Center to conduct an immersive international spiritual retreat in India last December 2019. In Divine Heart Center's signature style of spirituality combined with comfort, this well-planned retreat included visits to historical places in Gokul, Mathura, Vrindavan, Jaipur, Ajmer, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Kumbhalgarh, Ranakpur and Udaipur.
Many places visited during this trip are thousands of years old offering spiritual experiences and exploration of India's history and rich culture. Attendees had the opportunity to take a break from their routine life and rejuvenate. Travelling through the vibrant, colorful and beautiful cities not only provided a healthy sensory delight but also inner tranquillity. The meditation session in the natural setting of Jawai Bandh in Kumbhalgarh, the spiritually charged fire ceremony on the shores of the Pushkar Lake and the temple visits enabled the participants to connect with their inner divinity and be spiritually recharged. The Taj Mahal, forts in Rajasthan, desert safari in Pushkar exposed everyone to rich landscapes. There were opportunities to explore the local cuisine, gourmet dinners, local arts and crafts.
The accommodations included boutique hotels providing enriching experiences. There were fireside sessions to share spiritual experiences combined with local folklore, music, singing and a mantra chanting competition.
The trip ended with gala New Year's Eve celebrations which included music, dance and great cuisine. What a way to welcome the new year with joy and great companionship! All the participants felt the good energy which filled them with peace and calmness as they returned home.
The retreat ended on a high note with announcements for 2020 events. Divine Heart Center's prime event in 2020 is the Kailash Yatra. Mount Kailash is said to be one of the holiest places on the planet. It is a pilgrimage for multiple religions. Other events in 2020 include Spring and Fall Retreats.
