Chennai, Tamil Nadu Oct 2, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC), Chennai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne Sarawak) on 21st September 2019 for collaborations across industry-related research, engineering training, and knowledge sharing.
Signing on behalf of REC was it's Vice Chairman Mr. Abhay Shankar Meganathan while Swinburne Sarawak was represented by its Deputy Vice-Chancellor and CEO Professor John Wilson.
A press release said the MoU outlines collaboration between the parties in the areas of student exchange and mobility, internships. research opportunities for students & staff, joint organisation of conferences, seminars and guest lectures, exchange of publications, and academic materials.
Under the partnership, REC will work with Swinburne University in the areas of Digitalisation, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Internet of Things (IoT).
