Chula Vista, California Oct 12, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Seeking Veterans, and Veteran supporters to participate in the preliminary round of the battle challenge of "The Pugilist." This will be filmed for a TV reality show sizzle reel.
Must have your own mouth piece. Mouthpiece Required!
Must be a Veteran or Supporter of friend-family-or in memory of, a Veteran in the US Military Armed Forces; must be of athletic build, and able to compete in Military Style Pugilist Combat.

Casting and Production Dates & Locations
Preliminary casting and competition will be held Oct. 19 at 11:30 a.m. (will last through the evening) at Jab Boxing, 2381 Boswell Rd. in Chula Vista, CA 91915.
The preliminary round, filmed for T.V., will be a full contact, battle challenge of “The Pugilist.” Producer states: "This will be a win or lose challenge officiated by a Referee and three Judges. Winners advance to the final challenge, were an estimated $100,000 worth of cash donations and awards will be available for the taking!"
"All Veteran Non-Profits are invited to recruit Challenge Participants to compete in ”The Pugilist.” The challenge will be to see who has what it takes to reign as The World Pugilist Champion & earn an estimated $22,000 donation to the Veteran Non-Profit of each of the three winners, Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweights choice."
Challenge participants are also encouraged to compete for their own Non-Profit. "The challenge winners of each class, Lightweight (155 lbs or below) Middleweight (156-198 lbs) and Heavyweight (199 & above), will reign with Title of Champion and Title belt for one full year. Also, each winner will receive the Nations coolest and most Valuable Challenge Coin or Ring, the estimated value of $10,000. The Non-Profit Organization (NPO) will hold possession of the trophy to display as they choose."
Note: All Challenge participants must be 18 years of age, male, and in good health who have not had a concussion in the previous six months. A weigh in and brief medical exam will be conducted.

A pugil stick is a training device used to simulate a rifle bayonet so that effective, but safe, training can be conducted to build the proficiency of rifle bayonet techniques. Pugil stick training builds on the techniques used to throw punches.
