New Delhi, Delhi Aug 24, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Nick Mahal, founder of RAYNM, Born in a quaint little village in Rajasthan called Morjand Khari, Nick grew up in Bathinda, in a family of businessmen, where he was expected to take up the conventional route and learn the family business of manufacturing construction machinery or join the armed forces as an adult.
Alas, he never wanted to do either of those things. So, at the risk of being declared as the black sheep of the family, he decided to not pursue it.
Nick is a Computer Application Engineer by qualification and further studied Network Engineering. He conducted IT seminars and worked at Airtel for some time.
However, things took a turn when he, out of curiosity, took projects as a model and actor. After doing a couple of print shoots and a documentary, he was introduced to the world of event management. Soon, he developed a passion for it and decided to explore it further.
Over the years, he branched out and developed the required skill sets which enabled him to work as a Visual Jockey, Creative Director, Pageant Expert, and a Show Director across the country.
He says, "I learned on the job. I take pride in my ability to observe people, which has helped me gain practical knowledge about how things are done. My prior knowledge as an Engineer made it easier for me to learn the technical aspects of it."
"Persistence will take you places." As a firm believer in this ideology, it has helped him navigate through the challenges of life.
After partnering with a music and film production company, Nick had the idea of starting one of his own - RAYNM, which is focused on digital media.
He recently embarked upon a new project to launch a fashion magazine, La Moda, to highlight some of the promising personalities in the Indian fashion scene. The desire to reach a larger audience was a major motivating force behind this initiative.
