The green energy push is being successfully cultivated in Rajasthan with a new project investment by the UAE worth ₹3 Lakh Crore. The agreement was signed on Tuesday.

Jaipur, Rajasthan Oct 24, 2024 (Issuewire.com)  - It is a historic moment for India with Rajasthan securing a fascinating deal with UAE with a huge investment of ₹3 lakh crore. It is based on the renewal energy sector which will push the boundaries for green projects. The United Arab Emirates shows their interest in this project and they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday with India. Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and UAE’s Investment Minister Mohammed Hasan Alsuwaidi agreed to the CM’s Residence. The deal paves a progressive way for solar, wind, and hybrid energy generation where the projects can come with a capacity of 60 gigawatts. It is planned to be established in the western districts of Rajasthan.

Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Government of Rajasthan signed the MoU with Alsuwaidi. He made sure that Rajasthan became the best example for harnessing modern technology in power generation in sustainable ways. According to the agreement, the UAE Government will be appointing a competent developer who will work closely with the Rajasthan Government and ensure the execution of the project within the timeline.

Rajasthan is gradually becoming the next best example for renewal energy which has been possible with the efforts of Bhajan Lal Sharma who has put some proactive efforts in the international platforms. The upcoming Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024 will ensure that more foreign investors come to the country for investment. Even private multinational companies can find more exposure through these summits. With the involvement of the UAE government, Rajasthan will be witnessing a game-changing development in the coming days. As a result, there will be a growth in the job sectors as well as sustainable practices which are currently the backbone of every industry. In the past 10 months, total deals of 32,000 megawatts have been signed.
