Pt. Ronu Majumdar Collaborates with Sucheta Bhattacharjee on Desh Raga

Mumbai, Maharashtra Jan 8, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - World-renowned flutist, Pt. Ronu Majumdar collaborates on a melodious and playfully vibrant jugalbandi with Sucheta Bhattacharjee, a soulful Indian Classical singer and one of the foremost mentors in Indian music. The collaboration is based on one of the most popular and well-recognized Indian ragas – the Desh Raga. The National Song of India, Vande Mataram has been composed on the Desh raga, and so are the popular movie songs like Agar Tum Saath Ho (A.R. Rahman), Kesariya Balma (Hridaynath Mangeshkar), Mora Sainyan Toh Hain Pardes (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan) and several others including some of the most loved compositions by Ilaiyaraaja. The sparkling collaboration features a traditional Hindustani Classical bandish – Beet Jaye Barkha Ritu, sung beautifully by Sucheta Bhattacharjee with soul tapping flute play by Pt. Ronu Majumdar.
