Dynamic Emotional Wellness, a New York based medical practice management company announced today that it will partner with Nurse Practitioners, Julie Middleton, NPP and Stephanie Mancini-Hughes, NPP to begin seeing new patients in our facility effective immediately.
The company stated that existing patients will continue to be seen through telemedicine visits for the remainder of April and on a limited basis after that. Dynamic Emotional Wellness will have the capacity to see new patients within one week of contacting the facility to ensure patients are cared for during the pandemic.
Both of the experienced healthcare practitioners are equipped to help patients through these challenging times. New patient appointments are 60 minutes to ensure the adequate time. Conditions treated include; anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, psychosis, mood disorder, stress, personality disorder, coping skills, schizophrenia & suicidal ideation.
QUALIFIED PROVIDERS READY TO HELP
Julie Middleton is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the psychiatric field. Her experience includes psychiatric inpatient, outpatient and emergency (CPEP) settings. Ms. Middleton obtained her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing in 2004 from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in Syracuse, where she is currently employed as a full- time faculty member teaching psychiatric theory and clinical. She went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse in 2013. In addition to her nursing degrees, she also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from SUNY Fredonia (1993) and a Master’s of Science Degree in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University (1997). Ms. Middleton specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia.
Stephanie Hughes is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 12 years’ experience. Her experience includes both inpatient and outpatient settings. Stephanie graduated in 2007 from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing where she obtained her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing degree. She then continued her education and graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2013 with her Masters in Nursing degree. Stephanie specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of several psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
GUIDELINES TO ENSURE PATIENT/PROVIDER/STAFF SAFETY FROM COVID-19
1. New patients fill out all intake information online and submit prior to appointment through our HIPAA secure portal.
2. Only 1 provider will see new patients live at DEW at a time.
3. Patients & Providers will be required to wear face masks during the visit.
4. Patients will have to wait in their vehicles before their appointment and staff will signal/call/text when they are able to enter the facility.
5. Once the preceding patient has left, the next patient will enter.
6. All door handles, devices, chairs and desks will be sanitized between visits.
7. Chairs in the provider offices will be set outside of “social distancing” parameters to ensure safety.
