He is the Site Director of the Department of Pediatrics at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall and an attending physician at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Back in 1974, Dr. Kocherlakota graduated with his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India. After relocating to the United States, he performed his residency in pediatrics at St. Luke’s - Roosevelt Hospital Center.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, he is board-certified in both pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
