Camborne, Cornwall Jun 8, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Pop and electronic music singer-songwriter - Theya LeRoy just released her second single - 'Poison tree' which came out on the 4th of April and is available on all main streaming and video-sharing platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Youtube, Tik Tok and so on. The song was inspired by William Blake's poem 'A Poison Tree'. Thus, the songwriter took a very artistic approach to a song to make it dark. It has two parts - slow, very melodic, and acoustic sounding one and, faster - upbeat, electronic one.

Theya is a singer-songwriter, artist and pianist based in Falmouth, UK. Theya is reaching for her dream to release an album. Artist is interested in incorporating house, jazz genres' elements into her practice and playing with melancholic and sad themes that are crucial to cover in today's society. The main key in her music is drawing an image of emotions through her compositions together with sad and meaningful lyrics. 'I Opened My Heart' is Theya's first single as an independent musician which was played on BBC Introducing led with exciting feedback. Artist's real name is Teja Peleckaite who grew up in Lithuania. There, at the age of 6, she joined a music school where started playing piano and singing. Through the years of studying music, the songwriter gained knowledge about medieval, classical, jazz and pop music, which now is helping artists create something alternative, unheard.
To implement artistic visualizations to complete Theya's second song - 'Poison tree', she collaborated with the talented artist - Halcyon Neumann who is an original author of this single's cover art and with marvellous songwriter, producer - George Murray.
