Palm Beach Central High School Honors The Victims Of The Parkland Massacre

Assembly Scheduled at Palm Beach Central in Memoriam of The. Marjory Stoneman Douglas Shooting

Wellington, Florida Mar 9, 2018 (Issuewire.com)  - Palm Beach Central High School will host a special assembly on Wednesday, March 14th to honor the 17 lives that were tragically lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

After students and staff displayed an outpouring of concern and support for the students attending Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Principal Edgecomb declared March 14,2018 a day to honor those lost in the Parkland shooting.

The assembly will begin at 9am and will last approximately 45 minutes. During this time a student guest speaker from Marjory Stoneman Douglas will speak on behalf of their fellow students. His/Her message will center around gratitude for all the support and the power of student voices to make all schools a safe place to learn.


The Student "Day of Action" is broken down into the following:


Whole-School Assembly in remembrance of the 17 lives lost on February 14th. This event will include:
Three student speakers: one from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and two from Palm Beach Central High School
Recognition of the lives lost
Performances by the band and chorus
Special honored guests

Students are encouraged to speak out and be heard about the recent tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. This proves to be an exemplary opportunity for the student of Palm Beach Central High School to extend their love and support in memoriam of those lost in the tragic shooting exactly one month earlier.
