Outstanding Achievement Soundtrack Regarding the Controversial and Critical Acclaimed Film "Gate to Heaven".

Italian film composer Michele Josia shared the podium with Andrea Bocelli & Na Ying by winning the Silver Medal of the Global Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles, California Jan 21, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - One of the selected "Berlinale Talents" in 2020, Armenian filmmaker Jivan Avetisyan, has chosen the Italian superior conductor and multi-awarded film composer Michele Josia for scoring the soundtrack for his latest controversial film "Gate to Heaven". It initially set to premiere at 2020's Moscow International Film Festival. The international war drama "Gate to Heaven" was scrapped from Moscow's non-competitive position “to avoid clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis in Moscow” as a “precautionary measure linked directly to Karabakh” as reported in September by Kirill Razlogov, the festival’s director of programming. Due to this unprecedented decision by the film festival, the film received significant support from various well-known critics' filmmakers (especially Russia), numerous worldwide film festivals, including the Golden Apricot International Film Festival and Armenia's National Cinema Center.

Many years ago, a military journalist, Robert, committed a mean act. Tortured by pangs of conscience, he takes a step towards repentance; it is the path to "Gate to Heaven", as the plot unveils.

Academically trained film composer, Michele Josia, received his 6th film industry award this year. His GATE TO HEAVEN score has been recognized as a mixture of traditional Caucasian elements combined with the modern western sound. Michele Josia replied, "I feel incredibly honored and lucky to be granted the opportunity for my soundtrack to be heard and awarded in a significant music contest as the Global Music Awards. It was a privilege for me to work with an extraordinary director like Jivan Avetisyan and a remarkable experience to collaborate with talented and illuminated producers, cast and crew in a film that by no means intend to increase hatred or create propaganda against Azerbaijan but only serves peace."

Gloria Soto represents Michele Josia at the Max Steiner Agency, Inc. in Los Angeles, California.

Paris-based MPM Premium is managing international sales and "Gate to Heaven" will soon be released in the United States and Europe.
