Octavo Systems, a leader in System‑in‑Package (SiP) solutions, today announced the availability of the OSD62x‑PM, an ultra‑compact 9 × 14 mm SiP module based on the Texas Instruments AM62x (AM623/AM625) MPU. The OSD62x‑PM integrates the quad-core Cortex‑A53 up to 1.4 GHz plus Cortex‑M4F AM62x processor, DDR4 memory, and needed passives into a single 500-ball BGA package.
Targeted at space-constrained, high-performance embedded markets—including industrial automation, IoT edge gateways, Human Machine Interfaces, and edge AI—the OSD62x‑PM delivers full AM62x capabilities in a 70% smaller footprint, while significantly reducing PCB complexity and development time.
