DoviArt is a child of a lifelong dream: Dovile was born in Lithuania. Since she was very young she loved to create and design. At 9 years old she was already watching on TV runway shows from Paris. Growing up she realized that she could transform her appearance with clothes, accessories, and makeup. She started sewing when she was 13 years old learning from her mom. For Dovile sawing was magic, she still remembers the first dress she made for herself. She has several degrees in Textiles - engineering and art. In the 90th life just threw opportunities to test her as a fashion designer creating stage costumes for a friend, a ballet dancer and her troupe, selling a children’s collection to one of the biggest Lithuanian apparel factory, working also on her first runway collection. After that, she decided to leave for America and go to Chicago to learn English. In Chicago, she started a new life and after more than two decades she is now back to the fashion designs and she loves it. When she works on new designs, she feels alive, she can breathe incredible energy, for her to create is a dream. She creates wearable art. From a regular street outfit, she made it from unusual fabric, she adds lots of details, textures, materials and she creates incredible Fashion-Art pieces wearable, comfortable and user-friendly.
