In "Reimagined Piazzolla," Palamarchuk takes on the formidable challenge of translating the dense, polyphonic texture of Astor Piazzolla’s music - originally written for ensembles of 4 to 6 instruments, including the bandoneon, violin, and double bass - onto a single instrument: the piano.

"For me, a concert is only successful if I see someone in the audience crying during 'Soledad'," Palamarchuk admits. "I spent a long time trying to understand the depth of Astor’s solitude to channel that specific energy. It’s a tragedy told through 88 keys."
