Naples, Florida Feb 21, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Nirav Jamindar is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He graduated in May of 2004, making the Dean’s list. Following graduation, he went to Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May of 2008.
In October of 2008, he was admitted to the Florida Bar, Association, and shortly thereafter he gained admittance to the Middle District of Florida Bar, in March of 2009.
He began work as a public defender in Fort Myers, Florida for the 20th Judicial Circuit Court. He conducted numerous jury trials for cases of driving under the influence. His work led him to accept an offer from the Musca Law Group, in Naples Florida, where he worked for the next two years. There, he handled misdemeanor and felony cases.
Nirav went to Fort Lauderdale to work at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, where he argued, as a sole or lead counsel, 25 jury trials of both misdemeanors and felonies. After five years there, he left for Absolute Law, P.A. where he handled seven more trials, including three homicide cases.
He presently works in the Law Offices of Schwartz and Zonas, LLP., where he specializes once again in DUI cases. He currently lives in Florida with his wife.
Nirav has participated in a number of athletic activities. He played lacrosse when he was younger and has earned a third-degree black belt in Kyokushin martial arts. He has also learned Krav Maga.
In his free time, Nirav Jamindar follows the Florida Panthers professional hockey team. He enjoys cooking and spending time with his family. He also keeps abreast of politics by reading such sites as CNN, MSNBC, Politico, and the Huffington Post.
One day, Nirav plans to open his own law practice for criminal defense attorneys. After that, he would like to be a judge, either in the county court system or at the circuit court level.
Nirav would like to travel with his family when time permits and has his eyes on one day visiting Bora Bora, Greece, Spain, London, and New Zealand.
