Newly Developed Turbine-Generator Promises to Double Range and Lower Cost of EV's

Truck, Cars, Buses and Planes are Only the Beginning, Says Inventor

Santa Clarita, California Feb 25, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - Propulsive Research Corp., announced today that it had developed a micro-turbine/generator that can double the range of an electric vehicle. According to a company spokesperson “PRC’s AirRam Turbine-Generator increases the range of EV by at least two hundred percent and just possibly three to four hundred percent! An EV equipped with one of our turbines could drive from Boston to Washington DC and back on a single charge.”

Weighing less than thirty pounds and measuring approximately 18” x 18,” the device can be installed in the engine compartment of virtually any EV. The company plans to begin licensing its patented technology later this year for use in cars, buses, trucks, planes and heavy-lift drones.

In response to a question posed about the cost of the device, a company spokesperson stated: “Currently, an AirRam Turbine-Generator costs approximately $1200 to build. However, we’re working on an enhanced version that will cost significantly less.  We expect this version to not only increase the range of an EV but to reduce the number of batteries needed to power it, thereby lowering its cost and increasing its appeal.
