New Urban Musical Series Predestined Received 7 Film Festival Nominations
ATLANTA, GA - Aaron Avant Johnson’s streaming series “Predestined” debuted worldwide on May 25th. Predestined follows the journey of the preacher’s daughter, turned R&B Star, Thalia Rawlings, as she faces many painful experiences such as a miscarriage, the lingering effects of rape, bad publicity, and her mother's death. Predestined is the twenty-fourth production by Aaron Johnson Production.

Predestined was nominated and won Best Picture in the South Florida International Film Festival.

The Series
“Predestined” reveals the challenges of Thalia Rawlings, an R & B star who is struggling with balancing her personal and career life. As a preacher’s daughter in the dark world of R&B, Thalia tries to suppress painful experiences such as having a miscarriage, the discovery of her boyfriend cheating, having a nervous and public breakdown, as well as bad publicity. However, one phone call changes the trajectory of Thalia’s life…the loss of her mother. She willed all her mother’s assets and the church. However, the climax of this compelling drama is Thalia forced to face the place and people she describes as “her worst nightmare.” Amid her own personal struggles, Thalia’s love for music compels her to assist the “Choir” to win their first award at the annual choir competition.
