Earthtones Therapy Centre offers a variety of energy healing options to clear the blockages, remove pain and give you a clear way forward. Operating in Arnold, Nottingham for the last 4 years, Earthtones is relocating to Mansfield Woodhouse to bring more therapies, and a holistic shop to meet its clients' needs.
Opening on the High Street in Mansfield Woodhouse, Mahala and Alex will offer Sound Therapy, Gong Baths, Angelic Reiki, Shamanic Healing, Wild Woman Circles, Sacred Cacao Ceremonies and ecstatic dance classes. They will also offer a variety of workshops and professional training courses. Joining them will be a team of therapists and teachers who will be bringing their own skills to the centre, including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Yoga and Pilates.
The holistic shop will stock a variety of quality, fair trade incense, candles, essential oils, jewellery, crystals, homewares and personal care items. Alex and Mahala also hope to showcase local artisans within the shop.
An opening celebration will take place on 21 March, with visitors to the shop and therapy centre being offered champagne on arrival, and an evening of gong baths. There will be special offers and prizes during the first week.
Earthtones Sound Therapy launched in August 2017 and has been located in Arnold, Nottingham for four years. Now expanding, it has been renamed Earthtones Therapy Centre and is relocating to 74-76 High Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. Earthtones is owned by Mahala Gehna and Alex Nivlet.
Mahala Gehna qualified as a Sound Therapist in 2007 and was the first person in the UK to receive the "Certificate of Sound Therapy" qualification. She later went on to study further and added a Practitioner Level Diploma in Sound Therapy to her qualifications. She brings a wealth of experience in helping clients combat their demons, in whatever form they take, whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. She works with sound energy, the chakras, and universal energy to achieve the aims she maps out with clients. She's confident in the therapies she offers, because she's used them herself to completely change her own life, going from being unable to function due to chronic illness, to being able to live a normal life whilst managing those illnesses like a pro!
Alex Nivlet first discovered Reiki in 2001 after battling with several addictions. Not only did Reiki help him heal on a physical and emotional level, it also gave him a moral code to follow. Being attuned to Reiki also opened him to the world of energies, which are always present around us. He has since been attuned to many more healing systems (Usui Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Shamanic Healing, Kundalini Reiki, Metatronia, Seichim, Shambhala, Ra-Sheeba), which he now uses together to help people, situations, animals and places. He is a Reiki and Shambhala master, and is currently learning more about other energy healing systems.
