Richmond, Virginia Oct 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Accent Professional Recruiting, a nationwide search and recruiting firm specializing in placing sales, marketing and management talent, announced new ownership this week. Brooke Bolton Hall, Accent’s Recruiting Manager for nearly 10 years, purchased the business from owner—and mentor—Steve Barley.
Upon completion of the transaction, Hall will own and operate Accent, which works with domestic and international clients—including several Fortune 500 entities. Her goal is to continue to grow the business, hire several recruiters in Richmond and/or other locations, and work toward “bringing back transparency, open communication and integrity to the recruiting industry,” she said, also noting, “the labor market is currently so tight, and clients aren’t finding the employees they can usually source online...we’re well-positioned to help them, and secure the right candidates for their open roles, because of our extensive networks from our years in the business.”’ The company will operate from its new office at 9394 Charter Crossing.
Barley, who purchased the company in 2015, cited Brooke's readiness to run the company as the reason for the sale. “After working with Brooke for the past few years, I feel confident the business is in the right hands and poised for a successful next chapter,” he said. “I could see that she’s ready to be on her own...and, as an entrepreneur, you have to recognize when someone is ready to take over—that’s part of the deal.”
Hall says she’s extremely excited to continue building on Accent’s 45-year track record, and that the operational and business expertise she gained from Barley has been invaluable. “We have an incredibly thorough process, great referral sources, and a tight network because of our long history,” she said. “You really can’t buy that.”
