Detroit, Michigan Oct 31, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Cherry Cloud Entertainment has announced that production on the upcoming horror feature Twisted Blood will begin in December 2025, shooting on location throughout Detroit, Michigan, with additional filming scheduled for early 2026.
Directed by Daryl M. Simpson (Love/Sick), Twisted Blood is a modern meta-slasher written by Eric Johnson, Antasia Jackson, and Daryl M. Simpson. The film pays homage to the sharp, self-aware terror of classics like Scream, while carving its own bloody path through paranoia, technology, and urban legend.
The story follows a group of friends who discover that the latest viral challenge isn’t just deadly — it’s sentient. What begins as fun turns into a brutal fight for survival as something unseen watches their every move… and learns.

Twisted Blood is produced under Cherry Cloud Entertainment, known for creating grounded, story-driven genre films that blur the line between horror and reality. The film is currently casting additional roles and is expected to wrap principal photography in early 2026.
