New Blockchain Project Designed to Democratize Film and Television

Cheyenne, Wyoming Mar 24, 2026 (Issuewire.com)  - A new Blockchain project was announced that looks to meld crypto enthusiast with film and television lovers into a new community that will bring greater opportunity to those that love creating and give audiences a choice in what they want to see.

The project is MovieCoin. It will be a token that consumers can use to back film and television projects they want to see made.

It will allow an inroad for film and television makers to find backers for their projects while ensuring that the backers share in any profits from the projects all verifiable through the blockchain.

It is a proof-of-concept endeavor that will start with micro budget projects so as to refine the workflow and processes to be able to reliably move into larger budgeted projects.

“While we develop the concept to eventually handle any size budget, we will always maintain our commitment to help beginning film makers” said Jeff Hall, the project lead.

In keeping with that commitment, the project plans on having a yearly competition where MovieCoin holders can vote on one short and on micro budget film that will be produced and paid for by the project.

The project will also develop systems that will ensure any projects that meet their funding goal will result in a finished product. “We cannot guarantee success or profit” continues Jeff “But we will make sure that films backed by the community will be completed and marketing.”

While the blockchain is still in its beginning phase, its potential is unlimited. With regulatory clarity, and the application to accomplish real world functions, it has the ability to change, open up, and democratize many businesses and investments.

MovieCoin is looking to be the lead of these advancements in the film and television fields.

Pre-Sale of the communities’ primary token, MovieCoin will be rolled out in six batches, rewarding early adopters with the greatest opportunity for upside potential.
