Bengaluru, Karnataka Jul 9, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - The National Cadet Corps (NCC) in India was established under the National Cadet Corps Act of 1948 and formally raised on 15 July 1948. Every year on this date, NCC Alumni Achievers are felicitated in recognition of their excellence across diverse domains—including defence services, civil administration, education, journalism, technology, social work, and entrepreneurship.
Nominations are invited from across the country, and awardees are selected through a rigorous national jury process. For the 2025 cycle, 22 outstanding former NCC cadets were chosen from a pool of 838 nominations received nationwide. The NCC Alumni Cell confers this prestigious award annually to recognize exceptional contributions made by former cadets.
We are proud to share that Chief Mentor and Revenue Architect Shri JawaharBabu has been selected for the NCC Achievers Award 2025. He has been honoured for his remarkable contributions to youth empowerment, climate leadership, nation-building, and the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Tamil Nadu. He provides advisory and consulting support for startups, MSME and large enterprises on Sales / BD and Revenue Growth.
The NCC Alumni Cell is actively engaged in impactful social initiatives across India. Its mission is to integrate NCC alumni into mainstream nation-building efforts by supporting the NCC, and the State and Central Governments, especially during critical times of need.
