CJW, aka Chris Weaver, is a New York native who grabbed America’s attention on Season 13 of The Voice, turning all four chairs, and having a shoe thrown at him post-performance by Jennifer Jennifer Hudson. Under his mentor Jennifer Hudson, Chris continued to advance in the competition, finishing in the Top 24. Weaver made history when he was brought back to perform in the season finale, a first for The Voice to bring back a contestant as talent. On December 25, 2020, Chris Released his Christmas single “Mary Did You Know,” winning the Akademia Award 2020 for the best new song. In November of 2021, CJW signed with Sound Herd Records. His most recent single “Take Your Time,” was his label debut, released in October of 2022. The song has been met with a widely positive reaction from both fans and critics alike.
