(the "Company" or "MedReleaf"), The company is backed by more than 50 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare expertise, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Indica Industries Ltd t/a MedReleaf NZ (the "Company" or "MedReleaf NZ") has received its Medicinal Cannabis Supply Licence from the New Zealand Ministry of Health – Medicinal Cannabis Agency.
Activities authorised by this licence include the ability to procure any starting material, cannabis-based ingredient, or medicinal cannabis product. The licence allows for the import of products into New Zealand and the supply of medicinal cannabis products to New Zealand pharmacies.
MedReleaf NZ has also been approved to supply three products by the New Zealand Ministry of Health. Currently, plans are underway for product launches into the New Zealand medical market in early 2023. The MedReleaf Prescriber Program will also be available to New Zealand Doctors who want to learn more about Medical Cannabis and its role in patient care.
