Towson, Maryland Nov 7, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Set in Jamaica and the Baltimore area, the psychological thriller follows Keisha Kingston, a Jamaican-born attorney whose seemingly secure life is shaken by revelations about her family’s past. The novel explores how concealed truths can harm children, grandchildren, and generations who had no part in creating them.
Through themes of betrayal, identity, family loyalty, grief, and generational trauma, Duran asks: What happens when the truth a family has buried for years finally comes to light?
