Love Logan Productions Releases Soundtrack from the Motion Picture First Lady

New York City, New York Nov 13, 2018 (Issuewire.com)  - Heavy Hitters Records releases the highly anticipated soundtrack for the urban drama film First Lady written and directed by Dennis Reed II and Executive Produced by Love Logan on November 15th. The motion picture First Lady stars Rapper Jim Jones, reality stars Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander and Royce Reed of VH1’s Basketball Wives as well as Comedian Mike Bonner, and NBC Revolution’s Julius Gregory. The soundtrack has an audio and visual component. The visual portion of the soundtrack is available now as a teaser to the complete soundtrack and features full-length music videos by VH1’s Love & Hip Hop’s Brittney Taylor, Slim, and Louisville Kentucky’s Skinny Mane. The audio portion features love ballads from Detroit’s Ryan Jovan (IG @TheRyanJovan), VH1’s Love & Hip Hop’s Amina Buddafly (IG @AminaBuddafly), and breakout artist Tyla McCray (IG @IamTyla). The audio soundtrack would be remised without mention of the Jersey influence and swag that graces the soundtracks with songs from PineappleCITI (IG @Theyloveciti), Kazzie Stoner (IG @KazzieStoner), Dox Diggla (IG @DoxDiggla), and Sunny Surff (@Sunny_Surff).

The visual soundtrack for First Lady features the song “Power” by Britney Taylor. Produced by Kinship Productions and directed by Buddah Films, Power is a tribute to women and their undeniable strength to rise above the most insurmountable odds brought to you by the raw vocal of Taylor. Brittany Taylor is from Queens, NY where she spent her days networking with local rappers until a chance meeting with DJ Webster, ultimately made a music video with First Lady’s star, Jim Jones. Accepting a change in pace and in the spirit of starting a new chapter, Brittney found her way to Miami and an opportunity that landed her a role on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop franchise. Check out Brittney on IG  and Twitter at @brittneyftaylor.

The second song featured off of the visual soundtrack is “Numbers Up” by Skinny Mane. Skinny is a hip-hop staple in Louisville, KY and very little happens that’s not under his watch. Accustomed to the harsh deficiencies of the gritty street life, Skinny’s “Numbers Up” is right on time with its delivery about what’s also projected in the movie First Lady about money, the grind, and the urgency to make it no matter what. Check Skinny Mane out on IG @southside_skinny7.

The last song on the visual portion of the First Lady soundtrack is filled by Rich Guy Slim with his song “Thoughts”. Slim is an Atlanta native with his ear to the streets and a pulse on what’s new and hot, he’s able to deliver a sound that’s not only appropriate for the First Lady soundtrack but debuts with the opening credits of the film. Catch up with Rich Guy Slim on IG @richguyslim.

The complete soundtrack in both its components with be available for purchase and download on Spotify, Tidal, & Apple Music November 15, 2018.
