Love between Two Seen as Divine Events in Author's Liturgy

Poetry collection highlights celebrations of a lasting love

Los Angeles, California Mar 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - Poet, author, and editor Forrest Ingram in his new book “Love’s Liturgy,” encourages couples to celebrate religiously their various “days to remember” the same way that devotees celebrate important liturgical feast days.

His muse and inspiration in this poetry collection is his longtime love and wife, Ann. Their friendship started back when Ingram served as the chairman of the English department and Ann was completing her bachelor’s degree. It later on blossomed into a romantic affair. They were married for almost 30 years and celebrated their love for each other in every way they could until Ann passed away in 2015.

“Lots of fun, yet deeply sensitive and sensuous; shows how simple and beautiful love can be if lived; playful yet maturely reflective, focusing on a few sacred moments celebrated year after year by lovers,” says Chick, an Amazon reviewer.

“Perhaps these poems may stimulate all lovers to treasure their own special feasts and to celebrate them in their own special way,” shares Ingram.

Authors Press will be showcasing “Love’s Liturgy” at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books to be held at the University of Southern California campus this coming April 13 to 14, 2019. Ingram’s work will be exhibited at Authors Press’ booth number 937.  Readers and festival goers will get an exclusive preview of his work during the festivities.
