Nonetheless, the legend has always provided her best in her acting career. Unfortunately, Dame Maggie Smith passed away at the age of 89. Somewhere around in the gloomy mood, everyone paid their tribute to this true legend who gave a wonderful experience of cinema and their powerful characters. The King and prime minister considered her a National Treasure.

The Harry Potter himself, Daniele Radcliffe said, "She was a fierce intellect, had a gloriously sharp tongue, could intimidate and charm in the same instant, and was, as everyone will tell you, extremely funny.” He also said, "I will always consider myself amazingly lucky to have been able to work with her, and to spend time around her on set. The word legend is overused but if it applies to anyone in our industry then it applies to her. Thank you Maggie." Fans would agree with that.
She also provided a wonderful performance in the ITV drama Downton Abbey as the character of Violet Crawley. It goes without saying she was one of the finest personas in the industry and was a role model for many young actors. She has received a total of seven Bafta awards and received numerous nominations in the prestigious awards. The King and the Queen of England also paid tribute to the legend. Dame Maggie Smith will be missed by her fans.
