New Delhi, Delhi Mar 16, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Prime Minister Modi has been taking several steps in order to make a “New India”. He has been supported by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Prahlad Singh to make the cultural roots of India stronger. He has been collaborating with the Prime Minister to make sure they reach their goals.
One of the first steps that the ministry has taken is to open up feeding centers at the Taj Mahal so that nursing mothers can feed their newborn babies with privacy. They are also planning to open these centers at all the heritage sites.
Another important step taken by the Ministry and the Modi Government is digitizing the manuscripts which have faded away from our culture because of neglect.
Cultural spaces have been set up based on the monuments of India in all the metro cities, near all the iconic buildings.
Single-use plastics are not allowed in ASI protected monuments by the ministry.
The ministry has launched the scheme, “Seva Bhoj Yojna” which refunds the central tax which is imposed on the procurement of some raw food items which are circulated by particular institutions as free food to the common public.
Many people have been awarded for their refined skills in different art forms under the Cultural Ministry’s scheme of rewarding the senior and junior fellowships.
A very positive step has been taken by the Modi government to provide certificates of excellence to recognize the work of museum professionals. The merit of this step is ensured by the Cultural Ministry.
Another step towards New India is to provide financial and medical assistance in order to develop the financial and socioeconomic status of the old artists and scholars.
An app called the “Sangam App” has been launched by the Modi Government in collaboration with the Cultural Ministry. This is a musical app that has different music themes, songs, tones, instrumental sounds and so much more which will help promulgate the Indian Culture.
