Lifestyle brand expands line of apparel fundraisers for families of fallen officers

Shield Republic Charities’ adds tribute to officers slain in 2019, Texas church shooting heroes

Raleigh, North Carolina Jan 14, 2020 (Issuewire.com)  - American lifestyle brand Shield Republic is upping the ante on its popular “Hold the Line” apparel fundraisers recognizing the nation’s fallen, heroes and first responders.

What began as a project to recognize one fallen local hero has expanded to multiple fundraisers recognizing heroes around the country who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending others.

Currently, Shield Republic Charities, which by the start of the new year has donated $55,000 to the families of slain officers, is running multiple Hold the Line fundraisers for individual officers in addition to a "Fallen but Not Forgotten" fundraiser honoring all of the fallen officers of 2019. Fallen but Not Forgotten will benefit Law Enforcement United (https://www.leunited.org/), a charitable organization that recognizes officers who have died in the line of duty while offering ongoing support to their surviving families.

In each Hold the Line fundraiser makes available special honorary apparel for sale at ShieldRepublic.com. All Hold the Line apparel is designed, printed, and shipped in the USA, with 100 percent of net profits from the fundraiser to be donated to fallen heroes’ families.

“At Shield Republic, we believe in giving back to our communities,” said Charlie Romero, spokesperson for Shield Republic. “As a team, we agree there are few more powerful ways to give back than to recognize our nation’s heroic first responders who have died in the line of duty.”

In addition to the Fallen but Not Forgotten fundraiser, Shield Republic Charities recently launched a new “Texas Strong” apparel fundraiser honoring church security officer Richard White and Deacon Tony Wallace, who were gunned down while protecting their fellow parishioners in the recent shooting at West Freeway Church in White Settlement, Texas.

Other Hold the Line fundraisers have honored Deputy Chris Dickerson, Sheriff “Big John” Williams, investigator Billy Fred Clardy III, Sergeant Joshua Voth, and Constable Eula Raye Hawkins.
