Latest Corona Rules and Regulations to Visit Schengen Countries

New York City, New York May 19, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - Schengen Visa Itinerary LLC, a name gathering rapid popularity in the American Travel & Tourism industry, is out with its latest travel advisory in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The company’s industry expertise spans the preparation of Flight Itineraries, Hotel Bookings, and Travel Insurance for travel enthusiasts, especially those seeking entry into the European Union (EU) and the Schengen Zone.

The company CEO demonstrates complete transparency when voicing his views. “Most countries, including those in the Schengen region, are in the grip of the second wave of Covid-19. Governments across countries have had to review the practicality of their travel guidelines for the greater safety of their local populations. It is, therefore, a good time to level up with the latest travel rules and regulations.”

His remarks are commensurate with the latest statement released by WHO in January 2021: “National authorities and conveyance operators should not introduce requirements of proof of COVID-19 vaccination for international travel as a condition for departure or entry.” The reasons:

  • Covid-19 vaccines are still too new to measure their efficiency in preventing the disease accurately, explore the degree of protection they offer, determine their transmission parameters, or evaluate their long-term health effects.
  • The narrow bridge between production and availability of Covid-19 vaccines would make it unfair to give travellers higher preference over the general masses for access to the vaccine.

While these travel advisories have been largely accepted by global governments, countries in the Schengen Zone have tweaked regulations to suit the health environment within their individual borders. In most cases, travellers from countries on the “red-alert” list are strictly banned. The “red-alert” list includes third-world countries such as India, Pakistan, Brazil, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Chile, and Columbia.

Here is a quick look into some of the other unique regulations that have been adopted by the top 10 Schengen tourist destinations.

Alert: These travel regulations must be treated only as a guide. It is strongly advised that travellers consult the consular website of the specific country/countries they plan to visit for the latest travel information before applying for a Schengen Visa. Travellers are also free to contact our travel experts at Schengen Visa Itinerary to avail the most accurate travel itinerary and avoid last-minute hassles in Schengen Visa processing.
