London, United Kingdom Feb 5, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Klabrate World, the first eco metaverse, has a bold plan to reduce the impact of climate change on a global basis.
Founded in 2019 by Mark Chadwick, an entrepreneur from Lancashire, UK, Klabrate has been active in tree planting projects in Zambia for several years.
“I’ve been looking for a way to really boost our climate change activities, so when I read about the Metaverse, I immediately contacted a friend who has a technology business that specialises in developing software for blockchain projects”, said Mr. Chadwick.
Since last Autumn, Chadwick and his colleagues have been working on a multi-million dollar project to build Klabrate World, a green and eco-friendly metaverse designed to demonstrate that we can all live in a physical world where our carbon footprint can be reduced significantly or eradicated all together.
The Zero-Carbon policy within Klabrate World will be duplicated in the real world.
So, if you build a virtual home in Klabrate World, you will also be required to plant trees to offset the carbon footprint of constructing such a property in the real world.
“We’re seeking to make this a truly international project that will touch the lives of millions of people worldwide. Our objective is to plant at least one billion trees by 2027” added Chadwick.
Klabrate World is currently selling its NFTs, each one of which represents a 100m2 development site in EcoCity, the capital of their Metaverse.
