Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu May 21, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Kenric Adam is an Indian Pianist, guitarist, and songwriter from Nageroil, India. He is part of the Indie Christian band Divine Lights. He has also released many songs with his best friend Kester Rajan.
Early life
Kenric was born in Nagercoil, India in 2003 to Dr.Enoch Sundaram and Dr. Mallika Enoch. He has a younger brother, Edric Steven. He was homeschooled by his mom uptill his ninth grade. And went on to complete his high school in NIOS. Kenric started playing piano at the age of 5 and by the age of 7, he started producing music in FL studio and Anvil Studio. At the age 15, he started learning guitar, inspired by his best friends Kester Rajan and Godwin Rajan. He studied Piano grades uptill 7th grade at Royal School of music(ABRSM).
Career
Kenric Adam always had an interest in producing music and he released his first musical album at the age of 9 with a couple of his friends. With more and more practice he started playing a song for another person’s album, Melodies for my Master volume-2. After a while, he lost his interest in music and stopped playing the piano for a long while. Eventually, he started to listen to Christian artists like Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North, and Aaron Shust, this re-ignited his interest in music. After listening to these artists he became more and more interested in Christian Worship music and learned to play the guitar at the age of 15. With the help of his best friends Kester Rajan and Godwin Rajan, and the app Yousician he learned to play the guitar well. He wrote his first worship song at the age of fifteen.
During high school he started playing in churches and weddings, his friends and brother also joined him, and they formed a Christian Musical band in 2018 named Divine Lights. He serves as the band’s music director and pianist/guitarist.
Hobbies
Kenric Adam has many hobbies including speedcubing, hiking, and Photography. He also loves to make short films and has made a short film for fun with his best friends Godwin Rajan and Kester Rajan called One was Lost (2018).
He really loves photography and has got his picture favourited by NatGeo Yourshot. He is a member of the photography community Gurushots and loves spending his free time clicking photos.
