She later completed her residency through the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. During her early medical studies, she developed a passion for cardiovascular medicine, which led to a fellowship in cardiology at the Detroit Medical Center and an additional fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Utah.
