The pituitary irradiation program employed magnetically focused pituitary irradiation for patients with pituitary tumours, diabetic retinopathy, and metastatic breast cancer. Dr Linfoot subsequently developed endocrine testing laboratories and treatment centres at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley and at Providence Hospital in Oakland, California before starting his private practice.
Dr Linfoot is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Diabetes Association.
