Educated in the United States, he graduated cum laude from the Emory University School of Medicine and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in his senior year. He then completed a six-year post-graduate residency in urology at the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals, and eventually became Chief Resident. He has been practicing urology in Tucson since 1993.
Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in urology through the American Board of Urology (ABU).
