The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth is a 24 bed Level III NICU with the latest technologies and capabilities, including high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy. The unit also houses a 6-bed Observation Nursery for newborns requiring additional support during their transition to the outside world.
