Dr. Brodsky received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Hebrew University - Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem in 1985. After practicing dentistry in Israel for several years, she continued her education at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. There, Dr. Brodsky completed a two-year residency, became certified in Advanced General Dentistry, and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in oral and craniofacial biological sciences.
Dr. Brodsky is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Brodsky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (FAAOP). The AAOP, an organization of dentists and other health professionals, is dedicated to alleviating pain and suffering through the promotion of excellence in education, research, and patient care in the field of orofacial pain and associated disorders.
