James Pratt, "You Miss 100 Percent Of The Shots You Don't Take

New York City, New York Nov 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - As a recent guest on the Opinions and Beer Podcast, Acting Star and Australian Auctioneer of the Year, James Pratt spoke about his upcoming film projects, in particular, Malibu Crush, which he says is a passion project for him and it’s crucial to make the most of what you have and not procrastinate and put things off.

Pratt describes Malibu Crush as a throwback to the 80s and 90s comedies such as National Lampoons Vacation with Chevy Chase. In the film, Michael and Duey are two best friends from Pasadena on a hopeless quest to find a long-lost love now living in Sydney Australia. “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take, he said when asked why he was making it now, It’s about not waiting around and taking advantage of what you have.

During the podcast Pratt also spoke on the benefits of being Australian overseas and how you can get away with a lot more being Australian.

When told by host Adam Lee Morgan that he was only the second Australian to appear on the Texas-based show, Pratt joked, I think there is a gap sometimes when you say you’re from Australia and in another country, he said laughing, despite the fact we have 70 story skyscrapers and very modern tech cities, people still think we ride Kangaroo’s to the airport and wrestle crocodiles, when they ask me about this, I tell them, "yes, I do, in return, you feed the Kangaroo for taking you to the airport. 

Adam joked it’s similar being from Texas sometimes when I mention I'm from Texas people still feel it’s cowboys, beer and guns and this lawless place. 

Later on, Lee Morgan was impressed by the fact Pratt was also just crowned Australian Auctioneer of the Year, something that is a tremendous honor within Australia where Real Estate is considered one of the biggest interests. Despite auctions not being very common in the US, Pratt's skill has caught the attention of the biggest luxury names in the US realty market for his auction skills.

A humble Pratt said, “I’m thankful for just having one successful career, let alone having two successful careers.
