Jamal ‘Kid J’ George is the C.E.O and founder of Introspection Arts. In this role, he directs a team providing Dance, Fitness and Music classes based in the Midlands. The business has a company which provides DJs in various venues around the United Kingdom ranging from bars and clubs to wedding parties and corporate events.
Jamal ‘Kid J’ George began dancing at dance festivals at the age of eleven and professionally from the age of fourteen, therefore is no stranger to the entertainment industry, having spent ten years as a Dance Performer and six years as a DJ. Jamal's experience has taught him the importance of turning your passion into a money making career. He believes that with hard work and dedication dancing excellence can be achieved - this has become one of the main aims of his Dance and DJ company.
Prior to starting his entertainment business, he was a fully qualified professional Dance Artist who graduated from Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance Performance. With the knowledge he has gained throughout his educational life, he has applied both Urban Dance practices and Classical Dance practices creating choreography pieces for showcase performances and teaching students how to dance using various techniques.
As a self-employed DJ within the entertainment business, Jamal ‘Kid J’ George has appeared on multiple Radio Stations such as BBC Radio 1xtra. He specialises in Urban music but is adaptable to play all genres of music including Dance, House, Garage, Chart etc. He has gone from working in small bars local to the city he was born in, to working all around the United Kingdom. At superclubs such as Deltic Venue’s Pryzm Nightclubs and large company chain bars such as Revolution. He has Performed at O2 Academy arenas, corporate events, birthday celebrations, wedding parties the list goes on.
Jamal ‘Kid J’ George’s varied experience in Dance and Music laid the perfect foundation to create his business, Introspection Arts which was born on the 21st of February in 2017. Their primary aim is focused on delivering and providing Dance classes, Fitness classes, Music classes, DJ Tuition and to supply DJs for various events throughout the United Kingdom via their DJ Company.
