In addition to being widely known and highly regarded for his knowledge in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Jacques Coumans also brings broad commercial experience with MRI manufacturers as well as the hospitals that use them.

Coumans has held various executive leadership positions in large, mid-cap, and emerging healthcare companies, such as Philips, General Electric, Analogic, Harvard Bioscience, and Hyperfine. As CEO of Lakeshore Health Specialists, he advises and coaches imaging companies and their leaders. Coumans is a Dutch American physicist by training and has, over the last 30 years, developed deep domain expertise in the radiology fields of MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and X-ray. Coumans completed his undergraduate studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands and earned his Ph.D.from the Technische Universität Braunschweig in Germany.
