From Rock Riffs to Rap Rhymes
Growing up jamming to legends like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Metallica, B-Dawgg's passion for melody and instrumentation laid a solid musical foundation. But in late 2022, two rap-loving friends introduced him to the intricate world of hip-hop. His first taste? Eminem’s Kamikaze and Relapse.
“When I heard Relapse, I got it. Eminem’s wordplay is insane—it’s like solving a puzzle in every verse,” says B-Dawgg. “I thought, ‘I get this...and I think I can do it too.’”
Since then, B-Dawgg has immersed himself in the works of lyrical heavyweights like KXNG Crooked, Aesop Rock, and Action Bronson, refining his craft and carving his unique niche in the genre.
The Mission: Hard Bars, Big Laughs
B-Dawgg’s music isn’t just about spitting bars—it’s about making listeners laugh, think, and hit replay. Combining razor-sharp wordplay with a comedic twist, his goal is to pioneer a style that blends rap’s most complex techniques with the joy of clever humor.
He’s currently hard at work on Rewind, a 5-6 song EP and homage to his rap idol Eminem. Featuring remixed beats, reimagined vocals, and a touch of the B-Dawgg flair, Rewind aims to be a fresh, funny, and fiercely entertaining tribute to the lyrical genius of Slim Shady.
