Melbourne, Australia May 8, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The InfoChoice 2021 home loan awards have been run and won, with several lenders highlighting the strength and quality of banking products and services available to Australian consumers.
This year there were several stand-out candidates, all recognised for their ongoing commitment to great value banking.

The InfoChoice Home Loan Awards were launched in 2020 to increase awareness of the range of products available to consumers and promote competition within the market.
Winners were selected in each of the following categories:
- Bank;
- Non-Bank; and
- Customer-Owned Institutions categories.
Award Standouts include:
1. G&C Mutual Bank
G&C took out the Home Loan Lender of the Year in the Customer Owned category. G&C was a hugely popular and well-deserved winner of the 2020 awards and is now a multi-year award winner. G&C also won in six further categories including:
- 100% Offset Account;
- First Home Buyer Loan Variable Rate;
- Variable Rate Principal and Interest;
- Investor Variable Rate Interest Only; and
- Split Home Loans
2. UBank
UBank’s fixed-rate interest-only products were the stand-out in the fixed-rate categories. UBank took out the top spot among lenders across the following three categories:
- 5 Year Fixed Rate;
- Investor 3 Year Fixed Rate Interest Only; and
- Investor 5 Year Fixed Rate Interest Only.
3. Heartland
Heartland was top of the class in the reverse mortgage category. The lender is one of the more popular choices in the reverse mortgage category for its commitment to flexibility and financial freedom. This was the second year in a row Heartland has taken out this award.
