Oceanside, California Oct 31, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Independent hip-hop artist AC has released his latest song, “I’m So Lost,” an introspective rap record about navigating uncertainty, loss, growth, and finding clarity.
Written by AC (Alexander Concepcion), “I’m So Lost” was produced by Mdm Beatmaking, co-produced by AC and Daniel Waste, and engineered by AC himself. A true DIY artist, AC raps, engineers, and produces all of his own work, shaping every layer of the record from the vocal booth to the final mix.
Hailing from Oceanside, California, AC has been building his catalog independently since 2021. His previous releases include “Lessons Learned” with Daniel Waste (2021), “Lost Memories” (2022), produced, mixed, and mastered by AC, and “Down” featuring Inon (2023). “I’m So Lost,” released December 31, 2024, marks his latest chapter — an honest, high-energy record that has become the centerpiece of his current promotion as he puts the finishing touches on a forthcoming EP about growth and testimony.
AC’s sound draws comparisons to G-Eazy, and his inspirations include Joyner Lucas, Tory Lanez, Lil Tjay, Charlie Puth, and Karri. He first picked up rapping after hearing G-Eazy’s “Shoot Me Down” on a late-night car ride, and has spent the years since honing a style rooted in storytelling, self-reflection, and personal growth.
His work has earned early co-signs and media coverage. CNG reviewed his song “Down” on a livestream , he was featured on an iZotope livestream, and he has been covered by 24Hip-Hop, Lyrics & Threads. A former writer for Main Street Oceanside, Escondido Magazine, and Cal State San Marcos’ Cougar Chronicle, AC brings a writer’s eye to his lyricism.
“I’m So Lost” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
