We’ve all heard it: 2020 was the year to “pivot” as we enter “the new normal” in 2021 and beyond. The Clarion Awards, presented each year by the Association for Women in Communications, has updated several of its categories to reflect a year like none other, with additions like:

• Best Special Event that happened as planned - Community Relations Campaign – COVID-19 related
- Crisis Communications Campaign
- Best Overall Social Media Content – Business

• Best Influencer Communication
For nearly 50 years, the Clarion Awards have recognized the work of the nation’s best communicators, including editors, writers, photographers, designers, bloggers, marketing and social media specialists, radio and television producers, and many more.
The competition is open to all professionals: men and women, individuals and organizations, AWC members, and nonmembers alike. Entering your work in more than 100 categories is as easy as visiting the Clarion Awards entry website.
By taking advantage of the March 9 early bird deadline, individuals and organizations receive an entry fee discount and then can take more time to complete their final submission by the April 12 deadline.
