New York City, New York Mar 30, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - After a brief hiatus, Harlem’s popular farm-to-table restaurant, The Grange Bar & Eatery, reopen last week with the ongoing commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of their staff, guests, and neighborhood. With a focus on getting the staff fully vaccinated, The Grange continues to follow all the CDC recommendations to keep the restaurant clean, sanitized, and welcoming.
Diego Negri, from Rome, Italy, is the new Executive Chef that now helms the kitchen at The Grange Bar & Eatery. Diego, 36, has spent 20 years in the hospitality industry, studying all around the globe and cooking alongside renowned chefs such as Carles Abellan, Alex Simone, and one-star Michelin-rated chef, Albert Adrià.
Chef Diego spent his early career working all across Europe, spending significant time in large metropolitan areas including London, Madrid, Tenerife, and Amsterdam. It was in Ibiza that he first took on the role of Executive Chef, then moved to Barcelona to head the kitchen at Bar Brutal. Next, he spent some time on the island of Saint Barts in the Caribbean, before settling down in New York City. Since coming to the City, Chef Diego has worked at Eleven Madison Park and Marea, both Michelin Star restaurants.
Using his classic training and extensive knowledge in Italian, French, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisines, with Asian and South American influences, Diego hopes to create something special for The Grange Bar & Eatery. Expect refined, seasonal farm-to-table cuisine, with the same authenticity The Grange Bar & Eatery has been proud to serve over the years.
The Grange staff prepares to reopen with 50% of the indoor capacity and the full outdoor patio, offering more seats and space for the patron’s comfort.
