Hap-ally launches Monthly Toy Box Subscription specifically curated for Neurodiverse Children

The subscription program will be of interest to families with neurodiverse children experiencing the difficulties of life during the current pandemic.

Vancouver, British Columbia Feb 15, 2021 (Issuewire.com)  - As distancing and quarantine guidelines continue across Canada, Hap-ally offers families of neurodiverse children monthly subscription toy boxes delivered to their doorstep in order to facilitate a means of coping under the novel challenges of the pandemic.

Each subscription consists of a toy box, delivered every month, and contains 5 to 6 items that are catered to the child’s sensory, motor, and social-emotional learning needs. Customers will also receive the respective monthly evidence-based curriculum in their mailbox with strategies on how to use each item optimally to benefit both parent and child. Subscribing also enables the customer’s access to Hap-ally’s online community which includes webinars, articles, and recommendations from global experts.

Researched, curated, and tested by psychologists, occupational therapists, special needs educators, and parents, the toys are evidence-backed and safe for handling for children from the ages of 3 and up. Hap-ally’s research shows that special needs children within this age range have a limited amount of toys that they are able to play with, either due to the toys falling short of the safety requirements, or not being able to hold the child’s attention. Hap-ally thus seeks to fill this gap with their service.

In-depth understanding and experience are driving forces for Hap-ally, with one of their founders being a parent to two neurodivergent children. The conception of the company was facilitated by the awareness that the pandemic has placed an additional strain on families with neurodiverse children, with the isolation and drastic lifestyle changes being unstructured for both parents and their children. “Many parents of kids, with special needs, I spoke with felt they didn't have the supports they needed and were struggling. We knew there was a way to help them." Priya Tronsgard

The Hap-ally toy boxes are intended to encourage learning through play while developing, social-emotional & language skills.
