Grieving Mother Finds Closure from Her Loss and Consoles Bereaved Readers

Author shares the pain of losing a daughter to a tragic car accident

Los Angeles, California Jan 8, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - It took Kaye S. Beechum 30 years to write and finish Forever 19—a beautiful memoir and tribute to her daughter Cheryl Jean. With the help of her immediate family and close friends, Beechum finds solace and a sense of closure from Cheryl Jean’s untimely death caused by a car accident. Keeping her daughter’s memory alive gives the whole family the strength to move forward with their lives.

Beechum intends to help others who are experiencing the same pain, and hopes to shine a light on those who are still in the process of coping with the emptiness and sadness. She understands that it is never easy to overcome the loss of a loved one, especially for parents.

“Reading this book was like sitting down with Kaye and looking through an old photo album. There were not too many photos, but the pictures that you envisioned reading the stories were detailed and brought you into the moments,” says Literary Titan.

Despite making Cheryl Jean a wonderful living memory all through these years, Beechum made sure they haven’t put her daughter’s character in a pedestal. Instead, the family gave an honest account of her imperfections and those that she struggled with at her age. The book presented the real Cheryl—a loving daughter any parent would be proud of.
