Global Youth Initiative from the John Maxwell Youth Max Team
Last year over a half-million youth was served through the Global Youth Initiative! This year, the goal is 1,000,000 youth who will go through a series of events being held worldwide in October 2019 to be raised up in leadership development, anti-bullying, self-esteem, and more to help the youth in communities around the world to thrive.
Here in Minneapolis, Dustin DeBoer of Solid Rock Life and Family Coaching, is hosting four Leaders are Readers complimentary events in the western Minneapolis area. “Through the John Maxwell Team Global Youth Initiative, we have the opportunity to really impact tomorrow's leaders today. As a teacher and educator, it is also my goal to spark an intentional and life long leadership interest in today’s youth. That is what I intended to do through the Leaders are Readers Programs I am offering!”
When: Wednesday, October 2, 2019, 4:00-4:45 pm
Where: St. Louis Park Library, 3240 Library Lane, St. Louis Park MN 55426
Who: Students Grades 2-5th and parents of the students. Space is limited to 25 people. What: Dustin will be reading from the Sometimes You Win and Sometimes You Learn Children’s Book by John C. Maxwell and then having a short discussion about how even failure is not failing if we learn from it.
When: Wednesday, October 9, 4:45—5:45 pm
Where: Ridgedale Library,12601 Ridgedale Dr, Minnetonka MN 55305
Who: Students Grades 6-12th and parents. Space is limited to 25 people!
What: Dustin will be reading from the Sometimes You Win and Sometimes You Learn for Teen’s Book by John C. Maxwell and then facilitating a discussion around a leadership topic!
When: Wednesday, October 16, 2019, 4:00-4:45 pm
Where: St. Louis Park Library, 3240 Library Lane, St. Louis Park MN 55426
Who: Students Grades 2-5th and parents. Space is limited to 25 people.
What: Dustin will be reading from the Sometimes You Win and Sometimes You Learn Children’s Book by John C. Maxwell and then having a short discussion about how even failure is not failing if we learn from it.

Dustin has learned from studying John C. Maxwell and other leadership experts that leadership develops daily not in a day. Therefore it is his goal is to really develop life long leadership interest in today’s youth. As a part of the John Maxwell Youth Max Team, he is making a difference around the world!
